Beckwithshaw stretched their unbeaten start to the season to seven games after securing league and cup wins over the weekend.
Ben Quick’s Aire Wharfe table toppers overcame Kirkstall by seven wickets on Saturday after the match was reduced to a 30 over shootout.
A John Inglis century then helped ‘Shaw cruise past New Rover in the Waddilove Cup on Sunday by 206 runs.
Ian Hussain lead the potent ‘Shaw seam attack against Kirkstall and took 5-40 to bowl the home side out for 124.
’Shaw were struggling at 16-3 before Yasar Ali’s explosive 88 not out from 65 balls and Alex Lilley’s 28 saw them to a comfortable victory.
It lifted Quick’s side to seven points clear and the skipper praised his side for avoiding a “potential banana skin”.
He said: “Whilst it looks a comfortable win on paper we showed real steel. Our bowling attack continues to perform exceptionally well with everyone contributing week in week out.
“We are showing all the right signs in what is required for a successful campaign.”
Inglis smashed 131 off 90 balls against New Rover and he was excellently supported by flamboyant batsman Mitch Farag (92).
Hussain added to his five wickets with 3-17 as Rover were skittled for 84.
Beckwithshaw welcome Bilton on Saturday in a much-anticipated derby.
Bilton claimed a four-wicket victory on Saturday as Chris Winn (25no) steered them to Harden’s 125-9 target.
The victory boosted Bilton up from 10th to sixth with 16 points from five games.
Chris Peareth’s sixth-placed side then thrashed Addingham in the Waddilove Cup as they struck 332-6 before bowling the away side out for 95.
Sajad Ali smashed a century for the Bilton Laners.
Follifoot were on the wrong side of a draw in their rain affected clash with Otley as they fell 46 runs short in their chase.
Stewart Smith and Andy Rhodes tucked into ‘Foot’s attack to pile on 187-6 from 35 overs as Akash Fotedar (2-43) and Alex Fox (2-70) made inroads.
Otley continued their ascendency with the ball and reduced ‘Foot to 53-4 before Jim Pickles’ timely 56 not out saw his side to two points.
Captain Dave Wright scored 24 from 47 balls after earlier taking 1-26.
Pickles (33) was in the runs again on Sunday against Adel as Jonathan Ross (44) steered 11th-placed ‘Foot to 175-9 from 45 overs.
Overseas paceman Akash Fotedar then grabbed 4-32 and Alex Fox 3-5 from nine overs as Adel were bowled out for 100.
Wright’s side host last year’s champions Collingham on Saturday.
