Hanging Heaton have been forced to concede Sunday's rescheduled last 32 match after the Bradford League were unwilling to rearrange another cup match - in the league's own Priestley Cup.

The official Harrogate twitter account tweeted: "GUTTED to hear @Hangingheatoncc have had to pull out of @ECB_cricket as @bclcricket will not allow them to move #PriestleyCup #GreatCLUB.

"On behalf of all at #Harrogate we wish @Hangingheatoncc every success in remainder of yr. League & #PriestleyCup glory please #GreatCLUB"

The two teams originally met at St George's Road on Sunday, June 19 but the clash was washed out with Harrogate well positioned to chase down Heaton’s first innings total of 223.

The match was rescheduled for this weekend although it was switched to the West Yorkshire club as Harrogate's ground was unavailable.

Harrogate will now face either Chester-le-Street or South Northumberland in the last 16 at St George's Road.
