HARROGATE Cricket Club will usher in a new dawn at St George’s Road on Sunday when their new pavilion is officially opened.

England test star Tim Bresnan will be on hand to cut the ribbon of the new build which has replaced the old structure which was burned down in an arson attack three years ago.

First team captain Ryan Bradshaw is looking forward to the special occasion. “It marks a new era for us,” he said.

“We have been going through a rebuilding stage over the last few years on and off the pitch and this marks a change in the times.”

Tim Bresnan will be arriving at the ground at approximately 1.30pm and staying for an hour to sign autographs. He will be joined by England Ladies players Katherine Brunt and Danielle Hazell for the opening ceremony, which will take place at the lunch break of the Yorkshire Ladies versus Middlesex Ladies match.
