The clock is ticking for Bardsey as their survival bid took another hit when they found promotion chasers Rawdon 130 runs too strong on Saturday.

Bardsey must win their final two games and hope Bolton Villas lose both theirs if they are to stay in Aire-Wharfe Division Two.

Sameer Manjrekar’s side host mid-table Adel on Saturday before ending their season at already relegated Calverley.

Villas will play eighth-placed Colton before a final day trip to Rawdon.

Rawdon were reduced to 51-5 on Saturday before a century stand between Andrew Doidge (75) and Anthony Gilks (71) batted them to 262 all out.

Overseas star Umer Yaqoob grabbed four wickets.

Bardsey struggled to find a telling partnership in their reply and John Hughes’ 5-52 whittled them out for 132.

In Division One, Ollie Hardaker fired a magnificent 16-ball fifty for Collingham but his effort failed to dent Steeton’s mammoth 318-6.

Hardaker, whose knock included five sixes in seven balls faced, ended on 72 as sixth-placed Collingham totalled 218 all out chasing.

Collingham welcome fourth-placed Otley to Harewood Lane on Saturday.
