Harrogate hustings event postponed

The Hustings planned for tonight, Tuesday, at the Cedar Court hotel in Harrogate with the General Election candidates in the Harrogate and Knaresborough constituency has been postponed following the tragic events at the  Manchester Arena.
The road will be shut from 10pm on Friday, May 26, and is due to reopen at 6am on Tuesday, May 30.

Road closure: Starbeck subway to be replaced

Motorists are warned that the A59 through Starbeck will be closed for three days to allow the subway beneath the level crossing to be replaced.
