Letter: Road Safety - More speed signs are needed
The letter in last week's Advertiser which castigates North Yorkshire police for not displaying speed camera warning signs on the A658, is beyond belief.
Each day people are seriously injured or killed as the result of stupid, selfish drivers exceeding the speed limit.
If such a driver is caught by a camera, then that driver is the only one to blame.

Hide AdWe are all aware of the inherent dangers of reckless driving so we have already been warned. No further signage is required.
I say let’s have more cameras and speed traps and then maybe we might see a more responsible attitude to road safety.
