Wrestling will make a slam down in Masham Town Hall next month.

The Megaslam outfit has added the market town to its European 300-plus tour list on July 1, 7pm.

Featuring a wide range of wrestlers from throughout the world, the show, is described as two hours of family entertainment featuring something for everyone.

Owner Brad Taylor, who started the company after competing himself on shows around the country, said: “I saw a gap in the market for a true family friendly wrestling show.

“Children love watching the action on TV and I wanted to bring a show to towns that usually can only see it by visiting the big arenas.”

He added: “We have stars from all over the world on our shows, be it from America, Japan, Mexico, Russia and of course, England, families can come to our shows and expect a great two hours of entertainment.”

The American Pitbull has trained at world famous Wrestling academy run by former WWE star Lance Storm in Canada, as well as Brian Kendrick’s school in California and has returned to the UK to start an assault on Megaslam Wrestling shows.

Russian Boris Koslov will be representing his country and city of Moscow, while Mexican Sensation El Ligero will look to wow the crowds with his high flying moves that has seen him compete all over the world including appearances for stateside company, TNA.

Matches due to take place on the show include a Megaslam World Championship clash, Tag Team Thriller and this year’s spectacular Megaslam Rumble which will feature all the wrestlers.

Tickets, £10, from Masham Town Hall.
