As part of the next phase of development for Beckwith Knowle Business Park, work will start on widening Beckwith Head Road on May 22, and is scheduled to be carried out over 17 weeks.

The work will involve widening Beckwith Head Road from 4.5 metres to six metres, as well as installing a two metre wide cycleway and a one metre wide footpath along the eastern side of the road.

Beckwith Head Road will be closed from the Lady Lane junction to the junction with Cardale Park for 16 weeks.

During the closure, traffic will be diverted via Howhill Road and Otley Road.

Beckwith Knowle Developments Ltd have appointed Leeds firm Core Special Projects Ltd to carry out the work.

John Webster of Carter Jonas, on behalf of Beckwith Knowles Developments, said: “The infrastructure works are an important step towards the next phase of development for the business park. Efforts will be made to minimise any inconvenience caused throughout the process.”
