The family of a young woman who died in a car crash at the weekend have paid tribute to the mum of one.
Georgina Taylor, 22, from Knaresborough died after losing control of her car and crashing into trees in Oldham on Saturday morning (January 25).
Her 13 month old son was travelling in the car with her and suffered cuts and bruises.
Passing motorists stopped to help rescue the baby from the mini cooper which crashed on a A627 (M) southbound close to the junction with Elk Mill.
Georgina was taken to hospital suffering from serious head and neck injuries and sadly died from her injuries later on Saturday evening.
Paying tribute, her family said: “Georgina Lauren Taylor, known to her friends and family as George, was a loving mother, daughter and sister and leaves behind her 13 month old son, Rory.
“We ask that the media respect our privacy during this difficult time.”
