WALKING the Yorkshire Three Peaks has helped a team of vets and their friends raise nearly £1,000 for charity.

The group raised money for the MS Society after the partner of one of the employees, Dave Gibson, was diagnosed with the condition.

The walkers were also supporting the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust. They were joined by osteopath Lenka Beardshall, of Harrogate Osteopathic Clinic, who diagnosed Mr Gibson almost three years ago.

The vets have pledged that, if the 25-mile walk can raise £1,250, they will add a further £250. To add to the total, visit www.justgiving.com/teams/whitecrossvets.
