They will then be closed over Christmas and New Year and reopen on Wednesday, January 2 at noon. All books will be issued for the extra week. The library is very successful and hitting all the targets set by NYCC except for hire of rooms, do the many groups in Starbeck realise how the meeting room can be hired for only £17 for a half day? That is a very competitive rate and it is a lively large room with tea making facilities. If you are interested call in at library and ask for more details.
