NORTHALLERTON eventer Nicola Wilson helped Team GB win silver in the three-day eventing.

The competition, which came to a climax last week, saw Germany take the gold and New Zealand bronze.

Riding Opposition Buzz, owned by Rosemary Search of Sicklinghall, Nicola joined Bramham 2012 winner William Fox-Pitt, Mary King, Zara Phillips and Tina Cook at Greenwich Park for the event. “I am absolutely delighted for Team GB and really chuffed to have won a silver medal,” said Nicola, who was previously a member of the Bedale Hunt. “I’m absolutely privileged to ride such a fantastic horse at the Olympics. It really is a dream come true.”
