The Table Tennis Club: has restarted for boys and girls aged 12-15-years old on Monday nights between 7-9pm, and is held in the school room behind the Methodist Church (£1 for the two hour session). If you’d like to join, just turn up on Monday evening. Thanks to Janice and all the volunteers for making this popular activity possible.

Parish Council: the next meeting will be on Monday, October 14 at 7pm in the village hall committee room. If you are interested in village matters, particularly footpaths and care of the village environment; road safety; planning; the management of Percy Fields and provision of local facilities for children then why not consider becoming a parish councillor? A further vacancy has occurred following the resignation of Mrs Gayle Webster. If you are interested then contact either the chairman Norman Clarke or the clerk Mrs Kirsten Morgan. A nomination from Lingerfield would be particularly welcome as Lingerfield no longer has any representation.

Church Services: for Sunday, October 13, 20th after Trinity, 10am at the Methodist Church. There is no service at St Thomas, Scotton but a Eucharist at All Saints Staveley at 9.30am and Harvest Festival at St Oswald’s Farnham at 11am.
