Farmyard Nativity: at The Old Farmyard, Ripley on Friday, December 13 at 7pm for 7.15pm when the nativity will be performed by Belmont Grosvenor School with a donkey, sheep, goats, cows, pigs and hens from the farm all looking on. Father Christmas will arrive with a pony sleigh and there may be some surprises in his sack. Everyone can enjoy carols with the Knaresborough Silver Band, and drinks and mince pies will be served. Any donations of food will be most welcome. Admission £5 and under fours £2 which includes a present from Father Christmas. Proceeds in aid of St Michaels Hospice and Ripley Church. All Saints café: now open every Wednesday from 11am. Each month a proportion of the profits from the café goes to charity.

The Big Ripley Quiz: will be held at the town hall on Friday, December 13 at 8.30pm. All welcome.
Christmas fayre: the Friends of Ripley School Christmas fayre is on Friday, December 13, 2-4pm in Ripley Town Hall. There will be a festive chocolate stall, lucky dip, tombola, wine stall, raffle, cake stall, fair trade stall, toy stall and much more. Entrance is 50p for adults and children go free.
Ripley Blues: Nine Below Zero on Saturday, December 21 with support from Half Deaf Clatch. NBZ were the first band to play Ripley Blues back in 1999.
