The Friends of Ripley School: are holding a quiz with fish and chips at Ripley Town Hall on Friday, October 4.
Ripley Blues: the concert with master guitarist Stefan Grossman on October 6 has now sold out – apologies to those disappointed. We still have some tickets left for Andy Fairweather Low and his band the Low Riders on Saturday, October 12. Car Boot Sale: the last car boot sale of the season at Ripley Cricket Club will be on Sunday, September 29. The site will be open to sellers from 7.30am and to buyers from 8.30am.
All Saints Café: now open every Wednesday from 11am. Each month a proportion of the profits from the café goes to charity. This month we are supporting Macmillan Nurses.

Ripley Cinema: the new season gets underway on Friday, September 27 with the screening of British comedy/drama Quartet. Tickets are £5 and must be purchased in advance from ripleylive.com or from Andy on 860340. Alternatively tickets for all six films showing through the season for £30 and get a free bottle of wine.
