Father Christmas Floodlit Trail: come and explore the Father Christmas Trail at How Stean Gorge 3.30-9pm on Friday, December 14 – Sunday, December 16 (closes 6pm on Sunday). See how many Father Christmas’s you can find through the floodlit gorge. Can you find the real one? Fresh, local, homemade traditional Christmas fayre will be served within the licensed restaurant. Sample sweet chestnuts, mulled wine, turkey and stuffing rolls and homemade winter warming soup. Clare Beer, restaurant manager, said, ‘Find all the Father Christmas’s and see if you win the prize draw’. Prizes range from a 90 minute abseil and gorge walk for up to six children, to family season tickets. Free admission for adults and £2 per child including gift from Father Christmas if you can find him. Knit and Natter: do you like knitting? You could bring along your own work and have a right good natter. Could you show someone else how to knit? You could knit for charity and still have a right good natter. Would you like to learn to knit? Beginners of all ages will be very welcome.
