Art Sale: by the Pateley Bridge Art Club on Saturday, December 8 at Pateley Bridge Memorial Hall Committee Room.

A night of live Acoustic Music: is to be performed at the Pateley Club tonight, Thursday, December 6 at 42 High Street, Pateley Bridge. Free entry, but we will pass the hat. Guests welcome. Bar open at 8pm. The evening runs 8.30-10.30pm. For any further information contact 01423 711867.

Pateley Bridge Ladies Club: will next meet on Monday, December 10 for a Christmas dinner at Wildings. 7 for 7.30pm and please bring a wrapped gift, value £5. New members and visitors are always welcome. For more info contact Pam on 711679.

Grand Christmas Fayre: at Pateley Bridge Auction Mart on Sunday, December 9, noon-4pm. Trees, soaps, jewellery, Christmas cakes, wreaths and decorations, plants, baking, vintage crafts and clothing, floral arrangements, preserves, reindeer, Father Christmas, toys and gifts. Pateley Bridge Dance club: the next dance will be on Friday, December 7, 7.30-11.30pm, at Pateley Bridge Memorial Hall. Dancing to Jim at the organ. Entry £7 on the door to include supper. There will be a raffle. Bring your own drink. All welcome. Details from 01423 711197 or 01423 711642.

Nidderdale St Nicholas Festival: Over the weekend of December 7, 8 and 9 when there will be lots of activities and there will be something for everyone to enjoy.

Late Night Shopping and Lantern Parade: in Pateley Bridge High Street on Friday, December 7.

St Nicholas Fair: at Pateley Bridge Memorial Hall on Saturday, December 8, 10am-1pm. Santa, cakes, tombola, plants, books, calendars, cards, coffee, mince pies, homemade soups. Donations towards cakes and tombola will be much appreciated.

9th Annual Christmas Brass band concert: on Saturday, December 8 at 7.30pm at Pateley Bridge Memorial Hall. This year to be given by Alverton Brass and supported by Barclays £4£ match funding. Tickets £7.50 ( including mulled wine & mince pies) from Pateley Pharmacy or on the door.

There will be a raffle. This is now a much looked forward to event on the weekend of the St Nicholas Festival in Pateley Bridge.
