Church Services: Sunday, October 27: St Robert’s Pannal, 8am Holy Communion, 9.30am Morning Worship, 6pm Evensong.

Pannal WI International Dinner: on Friday, October 4 at Pannal Village Hall was a great success and members and their partners enjoyed a very tasty three course meal and had a great evening. On October 8, David Davies gave a very enjoyable presentation on The time of your life  1951-1964. He gave a fascinating panorama of political, economic and social snippets from the end of the Second World to the early sixties. He engaged all with his interesting stories, bringing back many memories for Pannal ladies from the time. The next meeting of Pannal WI will be at 7.30pm in Pannal Village hall on November 12. This evening included the AGM and a presentation by Kate Osborne of Farrow and Ball on Colour in the Home. Visitors are very welcome to attend, for a small fee of £3, including refreshments.

St Robert’s Coffee Morning: takes place on Wednesday, November 6 from 9am-noon in the Chapter House of St Robert’s Church. All proceeds will go to Macmillan Cancer Support and Saint Michael’s Hospice.
