Pedal for Pannal: Pannal Primary School PTA has a fabulous new fundraising initiative. A team of parents and teachers from the school will be cycling the Tour Yorkshire route, 125 miles to raise funds for both the PTA and for Candlelighters. The brave souls will be tackling the route on July 20 and 21this year. Funds for the PTA are to be used for musical instruments for the pupils and for the creation of a market garden which will enable the children to plant, grow and harvest vegetables as part of their education into the food cycle. Candlelighters was chosen as it is the chosen charity of a Pannal pupil’s family who is currently being treated for leukaemia. The aim is to raise £3,000 and if you would like to help out this worthy cause and give the whole team a boost, please do so by visiting www.justgiving.com/Pedal4Pannal
