An open day is to be held at the Pinewoods in Harrogate this Saturday, September 14.

The free of charge event, hosted by the Pinewoods Conservation Group, will include a variety of family friendly entertainment from 11am to 3pm.

There will be a static and flying owl display, Captain Rummage, digger driving, tree climbing and a reptile display.

Reptiles will be on display, there will be a bouncy castle, face painting, and badge making.

North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service are to be there, as will the Yorkshire Rotters, Harrogate District Bio Diversity Action Group, cake stalls and refreshments.

The event, sponsored by Audi of Harrogate, is open to all and families are invited to attend.
