With Euro 2016 kicking off today, and England taking on Russia in their first group game tomorrow, we look at the best places to watch all the action in Harrogate.
1. The Alexandra
One of Harrogate's most well-known sports bars will obviously be screening Euro 2016 this month. The pub, on Prospect Place, has just been through an extensive refurbishment and has a new menu, eight cask ales and, most importantly, three TVs to watch all the action on.
2. The Pit
As part of their summer of sport, The Pit will be showing every Euro game including England against Russia on Saturday. The bar will be offering a 4-4-£10 beer deal from Sunday-Friday until 7pm and customers can even watch the game in the loft whilst playing ping pong.
The Winter Gardens in Harrogate will be showing the Euro 2016 matches and is in a fantastic spot in the centre of town for fans wanting to celebrate (we hope) after the match.
4. The Orange Grove
Recently refurbished, The Orange Groves in Knaresborough, this pub is soon to reopen its B&B soon. Whilst the B&B may not be open just yet, customers can still pop in for a pint and enjoy the Euro 2016 matches.
5. Shepherd's Dog
The Shepherd's Dog on Otley Road is a local, family-run pub offering a range of drinks and food. It's the perfect place for football fans to visit this month with four TVs and an HD Big Screen showing all the matches.
6. The Claro Beagle
This traditional, family-friendly pub has renovated itself with a new fresh and bright look. The pub has a great sports section with pool tables, a darts board and the Euro 2016 matches shown on five TV screens.
Based on West Park, Muckles serves a selections of homemade and traditional pub fayre alongside a wide selections of quality wines, beers and spirits. But, most importantly for football fans, all major sporting events are shown, including obviously Euro 2016.
8. One Eyed Rat
This traditional ale pub is famous for its old fashioned charm in the heart of Ripon. But football fans can also watch all the action live on the pub's big screen TV which, they say, is the biggest the city has to offer.
9. Empress on the Stray
The Empress is showing England take on Russia live on their big screen but that's not all. The pub is also offering bacon and pulled pork sandwiches for £3 and four for £10 on Peroni, Corono, Smirnoff Ice and WKD.
10. Hornblower Tavern
This Ripon pub will have split loyalties when it comes to the Euros as it's owned by an English man and his Croatian wife. The pub, with a single large room, has a number of large screens for the football and has a range of beer from the local brewer Pennine.
11. Christies Bar
Christies Bar, located on Kings Road, will be showing all the matches this month with on five screens including a 50 inch one outside with sound. The bar also boasts six cask ales, five craft beers and wide range of lagers,wine and spirits They also serve award winning flavoured pies.
