Christmas Fair: Oatlands Infant School are holding their traditional school Christmas Fair on Saturday, December 8 from 10am-12pm. Children can visit Santa’s Grotto, play some great games, visit the chocolate fountain, enjoy some crafts, buy a present for their parents and have a great time trying to win on the tombola and sweetie jar stall. Grown ups can enjoy watching all this and also get a nice cup of tea and some cake. Please come along and support this wonderful festive event that is raising money for the school – everyone is welcome.

Call for information on Oatlands Brickworks: do you or any family members recall the brickworks that stood on the Oatlands playing field that closed in 1936? Any information, stories, photographs, letters etc would be greatly appreciated by Oatlands based artist Anna Whitehouse who is currently researching the area for a project. Please contact Anna on 01423 816396 or email anna-whitehouse@hotmail.co.uk if you can help in any way.

Oatlands Community Centre: on Saturday, December 1 from 10am-4pm, Anna Whitehouse is running a festive porcelain workshop where you can learn how to make your own collection of unique porcelain Christmas decorations and ornaments.
