North Rigton, Huby and Weeton
Harvest Ceilidh and Faith Supper: Almscliffe Hall played host to this year’s harvest supper on Friday, October 5, organised by the churches of St Barnabas, Weeton and St. John the Evangelist, North Rigton. It was a wonderful evening with people coming together from all parts of the community. The Dogsbody Band put on a fabulous performance and even managed to get the most reluctant of dancers on their feet. All the hard work of the organisers paid off with a delicious meal for supper although you had to get in quick for a pudding, as the children were back for seconds before most of us had finished our main course! The event raised £200.
