It's the date all serious craft beer lovers in Harrogate have been waiting for - when will the North Bar open here?
This nationally-rated, leading Leeds-based independent mini-empire has now received planning permission to open a Harrogate branch on Cheltenham Parade.
The word the Harrogate Advertiser hears is that it will only be a matter of weeks rather than months before it opens at new premises facing the back of Harrogate Theatre.
And the paper hopes to be meeting John Gyngell, director of North Bar, very soon at their brand new premises to talk through the exciting plans.
Since it first opened in Leeds in 1997, the North Bar has expanded to a range of six bars in and around the city.
Gyngell been trying to find the best site in Harrogate for five years but he is confident the latest North Bar will fit in well with the other independent cafes and restaurants in Harrogate town centre.
