Residents of Bilton Hall Nursing Home took part in an exciting day of special celebrations on June 9, to commemorate the opening of the home’s new dementia care unit which is dedicated to providing specialist care for residents with specific needs.
The new dementia care unit was officially declared open by the Mayor of Knaresborough, Coun Andrew Willoughby, and the ceremony was attended by relatives and friends of the home’s residents.
Glenda Ibbotson, general manager of Bilton Hall Care Home, said “We are delighted to add this new specialist unit to our service at Bilton Hall. On behalf of all at the home I would like to thank Coun Willoughby for performing the opening ceremony for us and for taking the time to meet and chat with our residents.
