Harrogate Town have signed former Hull City man Nicky Featherstone and one-time Chelsea target Lewis Coyle.

The pair have signed in time to be considered by manager Simon Weaver ahead of Saturday’s Vanarama North league crunch at Chorley.

Midfielder Featherstone, 26, started out at Hull City before enjoying loan spells at North Ferriby United, Grimsby Town and Hereford United.

He began this season at Scunthorpe United.

Right-back Coyle joins on loan from Championship outfit Leeds United.

A Town spokesperson said of the 18-year-old: “He is a player who is highly regarded by the setup at Leeds United and has been a constant part of the Under 18 team at Elland Road.

“Welcome to the CNG Stadium Nicky and Lewis.”
