Saint Luke’s Church of England Church: the regular second Sunday of the month service on October 13 will be AllAge/Parade at Saint Luke’s Church, Franklin Square. The service begins at 10.30am and there will be a crèche for children up to school age and their parents and carers. There is also Sunday School for children age three to11 years. Everyone dealing with children have been through CRB checks.
Come and Sing Handel’s Messiah: Katy Penn, partnership manager of Nidderdale Plus invites singers who would like to support the next fundraising event for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, to sing Handel’s Messiah. The event is the 10th Nidderdale Messiah and will be held at 1pm Sunday, November 24 at Holy Trinity Church, Knaresborough. Baby Sensory: Emma English runs baby sensory classes in St Wilfrid’s Parish Hall, Duchy Road on Thursdays 10am-3pm. Baby sensory offers activities to help baby development through activities which stimulate the senses and help baby develop through a combination of original and traditional songs and rhymes which aid early communication skills. Enjoy-A-Ball: a sports coaching programme for girls and boys between three and nine takes place in the parish hall of St Wilfrid’s, Duchy Road on Wednesdays 12.45- 2.45pm and Fridays 11.45am-2.45pm. Enjoy-a-Ball sports coaching for children has won awards for helping children develop gross motor skills through fun creative games which gradually develops sport-specific skills.
