Harrogate Games Fest: Saturday, February 16 nine-11 year-olds; Sunday, February 17 12-16 year-olds. Prizes are for each of the five games, X Box Fifa 13, X Box Just Dance, Wii Bowling, Wii Mario Kart, PS3 Guitar Hero. Prizes are 1st - £30, 2nd - £20, 3rd - £10. Raffle drawn throughout the day with a star prize drawn after the finals. You have to be there to collect the prizes. Banner and cap workshops running throughout the day. Harrogate Beading Group: Harrogate Beading Group meet every other Monday from 11.30am -2.30pm at the Youth Centre, off Penny Pot Lane in Harrogate. The beading group welcome anyone interest in learning or extending their knowledge of beading. We are a group of mixed abilities, but always willing to help anyone new to the craft. Saltergate Brownies: we would welcome any girls between the age of seven to 10 who would like to make new friends, enjoy crafts and take part in outdoor adventures. Brownies are part of Girlguiding UK and offer a safe girl only environment for new experiences and fun. We have plans for a visit to Harrogate Fire Station while doing our fire safety badge, as well as fun outings to local attractions. Jennyfield Styan Community Centre
50+ Social Group: we invite you along to the community centre each Tuesday afternoon from 2-4pm, term time only. All new members are welcome. Sessions include a variety of talks, fun and games, arts and crafts. Refreshments available £2 per session, £8 annual membership.
Lunch Club: runs every Tuesday lunchtime during term time at noon at a cost of £4 for a two course hot meal, with the opportunity to stay on for the 50+ social session in the afternoon. Carpet Bowls: the session runs every Monday morning and is currently being well attended. If you are interested in having a go, sessions run weekly from 10.30am-noon at a cost of £1.50, refreshments are included. Zumba Gold: Tuesdays 6-7pm and Friday 3.30-4.30pm. Gold has the same party feel of regular Zumba but the moves are gentler.
