A painting by LS Lowry entitled Industrial Scene is among items on sale at one of the country’s leading antique fairs.
The Lowry, with a price tag of £350,000, is on the MacConnal-Mason Gallery stand at the Harrogate Antique Fair, which runs until Sunday, October 19.
Also featured is an Austrian bronze figure by sculptor Carl Kauba which is valued at £3,000 and can be seen on the Solo Antiques stand.
Exhibitors come from across the country for the event, which has become known as a “buyers” fair and is staged at the Harrogate International Centre.
A spokeswoman for the event said the dealers were as passionate about their specialist areas as they were knowledgeable.
“A large proportion of them have showed with the Harrogate Antique Fair many times, building up friendships with their clients over the years.
“Exhibitors come from all over the country, bringing investment pieces for the discerning, always with an eye for the very best.
“The fair will be brimming with antique arms and armour, rare and collectible jewels, fine silver, furniture for every home, glass porcelain, bronzes and works of art and paintings for all periods.”
