A TRIO from Harrogate has taken part in group cycle ride from London to Paris to raise money for a charity helping people paralysed in sporting accidents.

Andrew Milestone, Jean Croft and Simon Williams were part of a 71-strong group that rode for 242 miles over three days between the capital cities to raise money for Regain, a charity assisting tetraplegic men and women across the UK.

The group finished its challenge at the Eiffel Tower and raised a combined £60,000 for the charity. Other Harrogate and Knaresborough residents taking part included Bruce Lightbody and Darren Pearce.
