Paul Thirlwell sent a massive home crowd happy with a last gasp winner for Harrogate Town against Brackley Town at the CNG Stadium.
In a match of very few efforts on goal, the experienced midfielder pounced with virtually the final kick of the game to steal the points and take Town up to sixth place in National League North.
An attendance of 1,534 had taken advantage of an early Christmas present by Town which saw all supporters offered free admission to the clash.
However, there was little for the bumper attendance to get excited about in the opening 45 minutes as both teams sized each other up.
Weaver had handed loan signing Jerry Yates an immediate place back in the starting line-up on his return to Harrogate from parent club Rotherham United but the striker's previously lethal partnership with Dominic Knowles failed to materialise.
The second half continued in the same vein as the first despite Weaver rolling the dice three times, with attackers Brendon Daniels, Jordan Thewlis and Paul Clayton all thrown on.
Daniels, Town's topscorer this season, caused excitement when his free-kick from distance rippled the top of the net before his next delivery saw Dave McGurk's header excellently stopped.
The game looked destined to end as a goalless draw into the dying moments until Thirlwell popped up with a winner that could prove a vital in the club's play-off bid.
