Your help could prove a lifeline
VOLUNTEERS are wanted at Age Concern Knaresborough to help with providing services for elderly people in the area.
If you can spare just a few hours every week or every month, then the locally-based charity would like to hear from you.
Help is wantedfor older people who require some support to enable them to live as independently as possible in their homes.
These services could include light domestic duties, small household tasks, shopping and preparation of meals, collecting prescriptions, escorted transport to appointments, light housework, laundry, dog walking, help with correspondence, accompanying trips out and carer respite.
