Write for us - and win!

Got something to say?

The Harrogate Advertiser is looking for new voices to write about any local topic - and our favourite will win a £25 voucher for M&S.

It could be an opinion piece on town supermarkets, a story about local sports, a funny thing that happened or your view on the future of Harrogate.

If you’d like to write about an issue which is bigger than just Harrogate, please do. The only requirement is that it is a subject which will be of interest to people living here.

Please write to a length of between 250 and 500 words, and email what you have written to ackrill.news@ypn.co.uk using the subject line “Guest Writers”.

Don’t forget to include your name and where you live, and a contact number in case we wish to contact you (only your name will be published - the other details are just for our records).

We reserve the right not to publish articles, and to edit them where we feel it is appropriate or necessary.

The winner of our first Guest Writers voucher will be picked by the editor in February 2012. The editor’s decision is final.
