Tributes paid to young footballer

A YOUNG Harrogate Town player has died suddenly aged just 18.

Alex Emmett was a defender for the football club and was a pupil at Harrogate Grammar School.

The cause of his death has not yet been officially confirmed, but tributes to the teenager are already being paid on social networking sites including Twitter and Facebook.
