Student-run coffee bar that's bridging a gap in the market
IF you're looking for somewhere to meet up with friends or bring the children during the school holiday, The Bridge coffee bar at the new Methodist Church Centre behind the bus station is open.
“Despite the college holiday, staff and students from Harrogate College have volunteered to run the coffee bar each Friday in August and would welcome residents and visitors to sample their lunches,” said Joyce Hoare from Gracious Street Methodist Church. “The food is delicious andreasonably priced. It’s relaxed and child friendly with easy access and a pleasant outdoor area.”
In addition to Fridays from 10am to 2pm, The Bridge will be open from 10am-noon on Tuesdays and Thursdays and also every day during the feva festival from 10.30am-3.30pm when the feva art exhibition – Watercolours Plus – is showing in the Church Hall.
