Magic in the air at magicians' party
THERE was 'magic in the air' earlier this month when the Harrogate Society of Magicians and their partners enjoyed their annual dinner at Dr B's restaurant in Harrogate.
President of the Harrogate Society of Magicians, Mr Bob McBratney, who is a professional magician and runs an entertainment and event management business, said: "There was delicious food and sparkling conversation.
"There was also a lot of magic as the excellent staff of Dr B's were treated to an impromptu magic performance by our Society members.
"It was a fitting way to end a very successful year for our magicians and we're all now looking forward to 2009."
