OUR recent market stall raised funds of £113. Our thanks to all who donated goods and supported us.
In September, we will be celebrating our 25th anniversary. We are to have a lunch at The Dower House in Knaresborough. The branch would like to hear from anyone who was a founder member.
In July, members enjoyed an outing to the Markington Branch, who provided a delicious strawberry tea. We had hoped this would be in the garden but, due to inclement weather, we met in the village hall.
The branch will not be having a meeting in August or September, but we will be back at the Gracious Street Chapel in October.
