Kasiuss wow Leeds Festival
HUNDREDS of rock fans watched Harrogate band Kasiuss open the Festival Republic stage at this year's Leeds Festival.
The four piece opened the stage to a vocal audience who chanted the band's name throughout.
There was also a group chant for Harrogate half way through the set.
Thousands of rock fans are set to descend on Bramham Park today and over the next two days.
Unlike Reading, Leeds has been bathed in sunshine although there is a mixed forecast for Friday afternoon and through Saturday and Sunday.
Headline acts including Guns N'Roses, the Libertines and Dizzee Rascal are all due to play over the three-day festival which runs from tonight until Sunday.
Police are warning drivers of major congestion in the area and further afield and have issued a revised traffic plan for local roads.
Motorists have been warned to expect "a perfect storm" of congestion, as traffic will be directed from the A1(M) to exit at junction 45 and use the local access roads West Woods Road and Paradise Way.
