Harrogate restaurant sees a taste of the wild west
A HARROGATE restaurant was transformed into the wild west for its charity cowboy day.
Staff at the Cattlemens Association, on Cheltenham Crescent, competed against diners in steak challenges throughout the day, which involved chowing down a whopping 72oz piece of meat.
And a real cowboy, who entertained at the event, went down a storm with children and diners.
Cattlemens managed to lasso almost 300 for Saint Michael's Hospice on the day, with sponsorship from the steak challenges yet to come in.
The restaurant plans to hold another Cowboy Day next year.
