Guides taking part in centenary celebrations
A PARTY of 28 girls and five leaders from 2nd Shadwell Guides are taking part in a ten day water sports holiday in France, organised as part of Girlguiding UK's centenary celebrations.
Guide leader Diane Eshelby has organised the trip and various fundraising activities, including packing bags for supermarket customers, helped to cover the costs.
After windsurfing, canoeing, kayaking and sailing at the Rockley Adventure campsite in La Rive the girls will enjoy a day at Paris Disneyland on their way home.
