ASPIRING sporting stars and artistes of the future are being invited to apply for a grant from Harrogate Borough Council’s Centenary Grants Project.

Set up to celebrate the council’s centenary in 1984, it has helped more than 500 young people involved in sport and the arts.

The council wants to hear from people aged 18 or under and living in the Harrogate district, who compete or work at a regional level or above. Previous recipients have gone on to national or international level.

For more information, contact Lindsay Spicer at lindsay.spicer@harrogate.gov.uk or call 01423 556725.
