Exchange trip lets pupils get to know German twin town
A GROUP of pupils from King James's School visited Germany over the half term holiday.
The pupils were on an exchange visit to the Bebra Brder-Grimm-Schule, the senior school in Bebra, Knaresborough’s twin town, and were staying for the week-long visit with host families.
The group was welcomed by Horst Gro, the Burgermeister of Bebra.
Pictured with the pupils is, from the left, King James’s School Languages Assistant Karola Cramoysan, Horst Gro in the centre and on the far right Joachim Haase, former Deputy Head of the Brder-Grimm-Schule.
Next to him is Alan Hemsworth, a languages teacher from King James’s who organised the trip.
