Weather Warnings

Weather warnings have been issued for snow and ice across the district.

The Met Office have issued a yellow weather warning for Saturday, Sunday and into Monday.

Rain is expected to turn to sleet and snow throughout Saturday, with up to 5cms expected on higher ground.

The Met Office have stated that snow will ease of throughout Sunday, though ice will still cause problems, before returning through Sunday night and into Monday morning.

North Yorkshire County Council said priority one roads in Harrogate, Knaresborough and Ripon were gritted this morning.
