There are currently 82 roadworks taking place across Harrogate leading to traffic disruption.

Work is being carried out on gas mains on Hookstone Road, the road is closed eastbound at the Oatlands Drive junction causing delays and traffic build up towards the Empress Roundabout.

Swan Road is closed in both directions between the A61 Ripon Road junction and the York Road junction, causing some delays.

Traffic is queuing traffic on the A61 Ripon Road southbound in Harrogate between New Park Roundabout and the A6040 York Place.

Temporary traffic lights are in place on the A61 Cheltenham Parade from outside the junction of Oxford Street to 10 Cheltenham Parade.

Other areas of concern include the closure of Station Road from Follifoot Lane to junction with Main Street and the closure of Queens Parade and Back Haywra Street.
