Thief strikes at Harrogate Hydro

A thief has stolen a snakeskin purse and a Montblanc pen from the changing rooms at Harrogate Hydro Pool.

Police are now appealing for information after the theft at about 1.45pm on Saturday.

“I need to speak with anyone who was using the changing rooms at the time and may have witnessed someone acting suspiciously and ask that they contact the police straight away,” said PC David Minto, of the Harrogate Safer Neighbourhood Team.

“I also need to speak to anyone who may have been offered the pen or purse for sale and ask them to get in touch.”

The stolen purse, containing money and the black pen, was beige snakeskin and from Episode.

Anyone with information is asked to call Harrogate police on 101, quoting reference number 12130042580.
