Red Nose Day isn’t until next Friday, but people across Harrogate are already getting into the spirit of Comic Relief.

The brownies are also sending bunting to help Blue Peter presenter Helen Skelton as she bids to create the longest string of bunting on the Humber Bridge.

And on Red Nose Day itself, the pupils will be able to buy tins of beans to pour over their teachers.

He aims to complete eight race challenges in 22 days.

There will be a comedy night at Harrogate Town AFC’s bar from 7pm on the night.
