Power cuts affect areas of Harrogate

Several postcodes in the Bilton area of Harrogate are without power this morning.

Electricity cut out in the early hours of this morning (Sunday January 27).

Five postcodes are believed to be affected, HG1 3AZ, HG1 3AW, HG1 3EL, HG1 3ED, HG1 3BG.

The power cuts were reported to Northern Powergrid at 2:19am today.

Northern Powergrid have said the interruption to the supply is due to a fault on the underground cable and an is engineer on site carrying out investigation.

Power is expected to be restored by 3:30pm today.
