Launch of new riding club in Nidderdale

LOCAL riding enthusiasts are being invited to join a new club set up in the Ripon and Nidderdale area.

The Brimham Riding Club was formed in November at a meeting of prospective members and is looking forward to a successful first year.

Member, Jen Hurford said: “As the closest existing club is Northallerton Riding Club, it willgive riders in the area the opportunity for more accessible training, competing and demonstrations.

“The aims of the clubare for the members to have fun, learn, improve their riding, horse care management, and to encourage new experiences and build confidence.”

The next meeting will be on Monday, January 18 at 7.30pm in the Henry Jenkins pub, Kirkby Malzeard.
