Harrogate firefighters have been called out to two floods in the district after a day of torrential rain.

Both pumps from the Harrogate fire station have been called out to flash floods.

One pump is attending a flood in the basement of Summerbridge primary school, which has already suffered one flash flood which damaged school buildings earlier this year.

And the second pump from the Harrogate station has been called to a flood in a domestic property in the Jennyfield area.

Some roads around the area have also flooded, causing disruptions for drivers.
