Police in Harrogate

Police in Harrogate are hunting for the driver of a blue car after a three-car collision on Saturday afternoon.

At around 1.30pm on Saturday 16 March 2013 a black Astra, blue Fiat 500 and silver BMW were travelling in the same direction along Forest Lane Head near the junction with Maple Close when they were involved in a collision.

A fourth, blue vehicle stopped at the scene of the collision but then carried on towards Knaresborough.

A woman passenger from the BMW was taken to hospital with minor injuries and later discharged.

Police would now like to trace the occupants of the fourth vehicle as they could have vital information for the investigation. Police only know the car is blue.

Officers would also like to hear from any witnesses who have not already come forward.

The blue car occupants and other witnesses are asked to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 2 and ask for TC Steve Wright, or email steve.wright1309@northyorkshire.pnn.police.uk.
